The CookieMute XL was designed with the same principles as its high brass counterparts: Intonation matches the open horn, phenomenal feedback discourages overblowing while the “audience” side is still very quiet, and as always it feels good to use.

Trombone players with screw bells: try using the mute without your flare attached to preserve the balance of your instrument!
